Public Service Announcement (September 2017)


I know what you're thinking, this month has been a little sparse compared to what I promised and, unfortunately, my activity will be less than I would like over the next month or so.

"Pffft. I could have guessed this would happen!"

You can be quiet! I have a good and exciting reason; I'm moving house.

Anyone who has had to go through this rigmarole will know exactly how awkward this can be, so I do hope you can bear with me. So, where am I moving you ask?

I have bought a nice pyramid-top apartment on the outskirts of Tizca, Prospero, overlooking the great library. It's absolutely stunning.

Battle Report: Sons of Horus vs Imperial Fists and Space Wolves

Battle Report (20th May 2017) First battle report - well, you've got to start somewhere! A bit of history with this one - in a previous battle the Sons of Horus had a convincing win against the Space Wolves and Imperial Fist and they demanded a rematch. Read on for the result... Combatants Sons of Horus - Lewis Sons of Horus (Luna Wolves) - Tom (XVth) vs. Imperial Fists - Dave Space Wolves - Liam Setup The battle was 6000pts aside, and with a Primarch and a warhound titan on each side mayhem and destruction was assured. It was standard Dawn of War deployment and Mission 6 from the Age of Darkness book - War of Lies. Sons of Horus won the roll off and chose for the Fists and Wolves to deploy first. With Horus on side it was quite likely they could seize the initiative after all. Dawn of Warhammer Fest

It's almost upon us! This Saturday is that start of a weekend centred around all things Warhammer. I will be giving updates via the Facebook page throughout the first day, so you can think of this as the pre-event build up. Let's see what we have to look forward to! Seminars and Demo Pods Of course, there are the presentations which will include news on the next batch of models to be released, painting demos for the new plague marines, the chance to meet some of the authors of the GW novels, and more. I will be booking my ticket for the Future of Warhammer seminar as soon as I arrive so will hopefully be able to give you an update around midday. Saturday's plan of attack: get there, get in room 1 for 11am, do Warhammer stuff. Done. The Grand Tornament Taking place over the entire weekend there will be battles spanning the whole GW range: Hours Heresy, 40k, Age of Sigmar, Bloodbowl, and The Hobbit.
